Saint Paul College Transfer Center

Transcript Evaluation

How to have your transcript evaluated

  • Request an official transcript from your previous institution. The Official transcript MUST come in a sealed envelope addressed from your previous institution; it can be hand-delivered or mailed directly to:

    Records Office
    Saint Paul College
    235 Marshall Ave
    Saint Paul, MN 55102

  • Once your transcript has been evaluated, you will receive a letter along with a DARS report in the mail. Provided here is a tutorial on How to Read a DARS Audit.

  • If you have questions about your evaluation, please contact the transcript evaluator for an explanation of your evaluation.

  • Students may dispute their transfer decision through an appeal process facilitated through the Transfer Center. If you are still not satisfied with the results of this appeal, you may appeal to the Vice President of Academic Affairs & Student Development at Saint Paul College.

  • Student Appeal Policy: Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System Procedures 3.37.1 Part 7

Course Equivalency Guide

International Credits: Saint Paul College does not evaluate international transcripts. If you have a transcript from a foreign country, you must have a third party transcript evaluator determine how the courses translate to U.S. courses. We recommend Educational Credential Evaluators (www.ece.org). Saint Paul College reserves the right to request additional information from you such as course descriptions, syllabi, etc.
