Electronic Technology
Overview
Students enrolled in the Electronic Technology program will learn a wide spectrum of challenging analog and digital tasks, including preventative maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting and repairing computers, electronic office equipment, networks, as well as interfacing electronic and mechanical devices. Electronic Technicians will be hired by companies to repair the company's own equipment or hired by companies as field service technicians. (Program Brochure)

What You'll Learn
- Understanding of DC & AC theory and operating concepts, Solid State circuitry, and digital components and their applications.
- Service, testing and repair of personal computer systems and peripherals.
- Understanding linear devices, associated circuitry and systems.
- Develop critical thinking skills and logical troubleshooting habits to analyze and solve problems in electronic systems.
- How to properly log service calls, document discovered electronics problems, and effectively communicate solutions.
