The Leadership Scholarship Program

The Leadership Scholarship program is available to seniors who are currently attending a high school in the Independent School District (ISD) 625 of Saint Paul Public Schools. This scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated their leadership abilities, while maintaining a 2.5 grade point average or higher and are interested in pursuing a college education at Saint Paul College. Applicants must plan to attend Saint Paul College as a full time student in the fall term following their high school graduation.

  • Amount to be Awarded: $1,000.00
  • Disbursement: Tuition, Books, & Fees
  • Number of Scholarships: Eight (8)

The Leadership Scholarship Program recognizes that “leadership” is a dynamic quality in our workforce. These young people are our future leaders, and there is much to be gained by their strong and vibrant qualities that mobilize others to action.

How do I apply?

An applicant must submit the following materials with the completed Application Form.

  • Sign and complete the 2007 Leadership Scholarship Application Form.
  • At least two original reference letters supporting strong leadership qualities and accomplishment along with the application. Examples of acceptable references include: instructors, counselors, employers and others who can objectively testify to your qualities.
  • An official high school transcript indicating anticipated date of graduation.
  • A typed response to the essay questions on the Application Form.

Application deadline

All application forms must be received no later than April 17, 2007.
